This is a companion toolkit containing the tools necessary for implementing the methodology laid out in the first volume of the document Local Climate Action in Myanmar: Methodology and Tools for a Community-based Approach, developed under the Myanmar Climate Change Alliance Phase 2 Programme (MCCA2), implemented by UN-Habitat in Myanmar and funded by the European Union. There are 14 tools in total, which are designed to be used in succession, with some reference to each other. The purpose of each tool is explained, and the activities are outlined in detail. Additionally, example tables are presented where relevant to aid in data collection and analysis. These tools are not designed to be used without reference to the methodology. It is therefore highly recommended to read the methodology (first volume) of the document—which contains background information and a more detailed introduction—first, before referring to this toolkit.
