Nominee Video: Beating Plastic Pollution Short Film Competition (UN-Habitat Myanmar)

Our Earth is facing a pollution crisis.

Land pollution, caused by fertilizers and pesticides, contaminates soil and groundwater.

Air pollution, caused by emissions from vehicles and factories, can cause respiratory problems, heart disease, and cancer.

Water pollution, caused by wastewater discharge from factories, can contaminate drinking water.

Plastic pollution is a particularly serious problem. Plastic waste can take hundreds of years to degrade, and it often ends up in our oceans, harming marine life and polluting the food chain.

To reduce pollution, reduce, reuse, and recycle, choose sustainable products, reduce your carbon footprint, and support businesses committed to sustainability.

Together, we can create a cleaner, healthier planet for future generations.
